We are family doctors who have a special interest in addressing the health care needs of patients with serious illness and injury.

Who we help:

Pacific Coast Recovery Care was established to offer the care of a family physician only to those patients who do not currently have a family physician. The continuity of care and longitudinal relationship with a family physician is key for the health of all patients – but especially those suffering from significant injury and illness.

We prefer not to accept patients who already have a satisfactory and long term relationship with a family physician. Please call and discuss this with us if you need any clarification.

How to access our services:

Given the purpose and objectives of our Centre, we ask that a confidential referral form be completed and faxed to our office. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, marital status, economic status, sexual orientation, ethnicity, language or in any other way. The referral form is meant for us to be able to triage referrals so that the most severe injuries/illnesses are accommodated first.

Believing strongly in universal health care, our services are meant to be accessible to all. There are no private fees or user fees for any of our medical services. Please contact us if you require any further information.

Meet Our Medical Director

Dr. Gurdeep Parhar

Dr. Parhar obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Calgary and subsequently completed his postgraduate training at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, B.C. He is a General Practitioner in the province of British Columbia with licenses to practice granted by both the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. He is an Associate Medical Staff at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, B.C., Eagle Ridge Hospital, Port Moody, B.C and General Hospital, Burnaby, B.C.
